CanWork Study opportunity

Mayo Cancer Support is excited to be supporting Trinity College Dublin in relation to some exciting cancer-related research.

The CanWork study is geared at those planning to return to work following treatment for breast cancer.

It offers participants the chance to participate in a 6-week online Return to Work programme with an Occupational Therapist.

Recruitment is ongoing for new participants and Mayo Cancer Support is excited to highlight this opportunity to any of our subscribers that meet the research criteria.

To be eligible you must:

• Be 18-64 years

• Have completed breast cancer treatment within the last 12 months (those still on hormone therapy may take part in the study)

• Be looking to return to work

• Have been in paid employment (full or part-time) prior to cancer diagnosis/treatment

• Be willing to take part in the online return to work programme and complete assessment questionnaires

Please note that participants will be randomly selected by the research team to join either an intervention or non-intervention (control) group.
